Logan Carriker, a 6’5” sophomore guard from Juneau-Douglas High School, has emerged as a versatile and impactful player in Alaska’s Class of 2027. As a full-time varsity contributor, Carriker played a pivotal role in the Crimson Bears’ 2024–25 season. His ability to draw fouls and convert from the free-throw line was highlighted during the Colony Basketball Classic, where he earned eight trips to the line in a single game, demonstrating his aggressive play and efficiency . 

 

Known for his smooth shooting stroke and high basketball IQ, Carriker consistently stretches the floor with his perimeter shooting and makes smart decisions with the ball. His ability to read the game and make timely plays has been instrumental in the Crimson Bears’ offensive schemes.

 

Defensively, Carriker brings length and agility, often guarding multiple positions and contributing to the team’s defensive versatility. His commitment on both ends of the floor showcases his all-around game and dedication to team success.

 

As he joins Team GBD 16U for the upcoming Puma Circuit, Carriker is poised to make a significant impact. His combination of shooting ability, defensive prowess, and basketball intelligence positions him as a player to watch in the Class of 2027.
